The kid's elementary school hosted a really special Veteran's Day celebration this year. Every student and teacher participated in some way. The large flag displayed on the stage has one handprint from every student and teacher at the school this year andit is breathtaking! Students who have family and friends who have served or are currently serving our country were invited to visit the school for the celebration. We were extra proud because William's den was invited to present the colors which was a very big deal to them and to the veterans as well. The principal invited all of the other Minshew scouts to wear their uniforms as well to be a part of the celebration and to show their pride. I have included a couple of cute pictures of scouts from other den's too-couldn't resist!This is another great tradition that this little school can be proud of.
