Our PTA participated in the Jaycees Lighted Holiday Parade again this year and we were the first prize winning float for the FOURTH YEAR IN A ROW! Our theme was loosely based on The Polar Express. The float was three cars long complete with engine. William and his friend Nick rode on top of the engine while Kate rode in style in the passenger car with her extra warm pajamas on. We had engineers, hot chocolate, snowflakes, music playing and even clever parents handing out little bells to the parade watchers. It took so many good parents and kids to make this happen. I will never forget it as I truly think this was the best one ever. We are so lucky to be a part of such a great group of people who can pull off such miraculous works when they get together. Not really sure why they haven't kicked me off of the committee yet as I become a lunatic every year but I am grateful that they still let me stick around because I really do love it!
