The Whitlock's invited the Smith's to join them for an evening of holiday music and food at the Meyerson Music Hall in downtown Dallas this year. If you ever have the chance to go I strongly encourage you to do it. We enjoyed a lovely buffet surrounded by views of the city and trees wrapped with white twinkle lights while a choir sang and Santa made his rounds. I worried about manners but as a special gift to me-the kids pulled it off without a hitch-WHEW! Our seats were on the front row of the dress circle so we would see everything with an unobstructed view. We all had a great time taking it all in and listening to all of the great holiday music. Equally impressive were the musicians themselves which the kids enjoyed even more than the music. It was a really great way to kick off the holidays and to make a memory that will last.
