We had a great day at the State Fair yesterday!
It was a really hot and sticky day but we were able to do everything that we
typically do and we did have lots of fun.
The kids particularly enjoyed going to see the giant sand sculpture and then trying to make their own-we must have spent a half hour or so in there. Lots of fun too was our trip to the Aquarium. They have added a 4-D Sponge Bob Ride that we all really enjoyed and lots of strange fish to ooh and aah over-not to mention it is the PERFECT place to take a cool break. Little Hands on the Farm and the Children's Barn are both still great for everyone too-feed a giraffe or a bison-who doesn't love that? We had hoped to enjoy the Jonas Brothers concert but with the heat and crowds it was not in the cards-maybe next year.
