We spent our Spring Break at Nana and Tommy's lake house and had a BLAST! Now that the house has been added on to there is a lot more room to spread out and be comfortable inside and LOTS of raw materials left behind outside for William to work with. He spent a large portion of the week working on a fort complete with a bridge and moat.
We visited the Dairy Museum and a park that had a neat waterfall that we had to climb. Of course-we had to have a camp fire EVERY night and roast marshmallows and or hot dogs. Not too sure how many marshmallows Kate ended up with total-let's just say it was a lot!
William is an excellent golf cart driver so he has a lot more responsibility down there. Boat rides, fishing, sprinkler repairs and log hauling were just a few of the jobs he worked on.
Kate was in charge of helping to choose just the right flowers for Nana's new and improved gardens. She also spent lots of time doing artwork to decorate the new house and-of course-she had to do lots of digging in the mud and dirt so tons of laundry each night was a must.
We watched sunsets, played Scrabble games, and ate the best BB-Q at Big Smith's. We had a great vacation!
